Prestige is participating in a fundraisier for my friends nephew Baby Graham. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia when he was 4 months old. His parents received the call on March 25th, 2011 and were admitted as an inpatient to Primary Children's Medical Center on April 6, 2011. Since then his little body has been through so much. New Addition Violet Bolen

I am SO excited about introducing you all to our new addition in the salon!! Violet Bolen Owner of The Relaxation Station has joined our team, bringing in a whole new line of services in the salon! KeraTriplex Treatment aka Awapuhi Treatment or Keratin Treatment

Many have been asking about our "Keratin Treatment" coupon in the Rexburg Saver, let me tell you what it is, and how it is done step by step. This is an AMAZING treatment developed by Paul Mitchell. I have done it several times to my hair and believe me, it is amazing.

First of all Keratin Protein is a VITAL element in our hair. Its considered the "Spine" of the hair shaft, when we lack this protein our hair becomes weak, and damaged like the picture below.

Daily stress can damage hair from the cuticle (outside layer of the hair) to the cortex(center of hair). Keratin fibers within the cortex are joined by peptide bonds-when those bonds are broken, hair becomes fragile and damaged.

Blow drying, curling,washing, even sun damages our hair daily.    

                                                         

Step one in the Awapuhi Treatment: we wash your hair with the Awapuhi Shampoo. This Shampoo is 100% sulfate free, gentle hydration and the keratin protein rebuilds and repairs.

Step two: We spray on the KeraTriplex Treatment. KeraTriplex™ is a blend of three proteins with targeted molecular weights that penetrate into the cortex, rebuild disrupted bonds and reinforce the cuticle. So it penetrates, repairs and seals the cuticle.

This stays on for 5 minutes.

Step three: The Keratin Intensive Treatment goes on next. This mixed with the KeraTriplex Treatment is a concentrated Keratin Protein Blend that gives your hair the deep repair and protection from everyday damage.

This stays on for 15 minutes and during this time you sit under the dryer. The dryer helps drive the mixture deep to the core of your hair shaft.

Prevents color fade up to 67%

A few things for this next month!

I forgot to add Belle Pierre Make up! Sorry Brooke!! She was there giving us AMAZING advice on our makeup! I love Brooke and her make up. I use this makeup line daily and it is by far my favorite! And on the plus side, its very affordable! I didn't get a close up shot of her stuff because she was so busy the whole time! So this will have to do.

Grand Opening

Our Grand Opening on Saturday was a huge success! We are all very happy about how it turned out! Thank you to all that came out to see us. Congrats to all the winners of the product giveaways, I hope you love your new product!

Its all coming together pretty good! There are somethings that we are still working on, but it will all be finished soon! I just want to add a little tribute to my dad. He made all these beautiful cabinets, and we LOVE them! He's done an amazing job, and I'm so thankful he's been so willing to help out! I'll post more pictures when the salon is put together 100% Its been a huge job, and I'm so grateful everyone has been so patient during this process.

The left corner of this picture is Artistry by Mckenzie G, She makes the cutest headbands out of feathers and other things. SUPER cute! On the Left of the table is cutting boards made by my dad, they are AMAZING! The perfect gift for mothers day! So if your interested left me know, they are beautiful. So beautiful that when my dad gave me one for Christmas I set it on my kitchen counter for display only! I can't bring myself to use it! On the right of the table is Stephaine Lee candles. They have the cutest candle warmers and yummy smells.

Sashay Jewelry, very very cute stuff! My fav was the purses (on the window seal)

Spicy Lime Jewelry, I bought several of their earrings! Love them!

Wendy's Beads. I love Wendy! She is so much fun! She has more beads then I've ever seen in my entire life! You can make anything and everything with them, I've made several watch bands, and she gave me super cute ideas for some necklaces, I'll try and conquer those next! She is also starting to carry wallets and purses!

This is the YUMMY food provided by Too Sweet Cakes, it not only looked good but it tasted AMAZING! The pictures don't do it justice at all.. unfortunately I'm not the best photographer! haha!

I didn't get a picture of Daddy Long Leg's headbands so this is a picture of my daughter wearing hers! SOOO cute!!

We had an amazing time and thanks again to all that came out to support us on our big day!

Bridal Fair

We had such a fun time this weekend at the Bridal Fair in Rexburg. Thanks to all that came out! Also thanks too Brittany with Too Sweet Cakes for letting us share a booth and for such a fun day! It was an awesome turn out.
